SCI’s Certified Industrial Hygienists will assess and test environments to determine the potential for sickness or health impairment by:

Evaluating indoor air quality and levels of airborne contaminants from processes such as welding, painting, sandblasting and solvent use.  

Providing guidance in the appropriate use, separation, storage and disposal of chemicals.

Determining noise level exposures.

Developing programs, determining personal protection equipment requirements and providing training to employees and management
