

SCI will:
Assess the effectiveness of any existing fleet safety program, policies and procedures, make suggestions for improvement or develop a complete and comprehensive fleet safety program.
Conduct a five year loss analyses to determine the extent of the accident investigation procedures, and ensure causes are determined and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence such as revoking driving privileges until drivers have been thoroughly trained or required to complete defensive driving training.
Provide classroom and over the road driver training.
Assess the routes, the driving conditions and the dispatching procedures and provide suggestions for improvement and additional training where warranted.
Review the SAFER database, driver files, logs and conduct inspections of the vehicles to ensure DOT compliance requirements are met and provide assistance where necessary.
Review the driver selection and hiring procedures to ensure only drivers with acceptable driving records are afforded driving privileges, assess the hired and non-owned auto exposures and controls and develop additional controls if warranted.
Review the vehicle inspection and maintenance records to ensure OEM and DOT requirements are met and develop addition procedures where warranted.
Review the cargo loading and securement procedures and ensure the drivers have the appropriate endorsements and training to transport hazardous materials and are aware of the procedures handling, cleaning and containing spills.
